HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO TO HELP ANIMALS IN NEED?

Brighton based animal rescue group Helping Paws are hosting a fundraising event on 2nd October.

The 3 in 1 event will see brave participants walking over hot coals and broken glass and smashing a plank of wood with their bare hands.

If this wasn’t enough excitement, local celebrity and friend to the animals Matthew vanKan is not only taking part but also will be performing at the event.

Matthew sings regularly at The Grand Hotel in Brighton when he is not travelling the world, performing sell out gigs.

He has recently returned from the USA where he was invited to join Dean Martin’s daughter as a guest on her show celebrating the music of her father & ‘Uncle Frank’. He was a featured artist on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Soul Music’ and has sung at all manner of celebrity events over the years.
