‘A Place in the Sun’ TV Presenter Ben Hillman opens Brighton Marina’s newest sustainable venture – FRESCO LIVING
Popular tv presenter Ben Hillman from Channel 4’s ‘A Place in the Sun’ was at Brighton Marina recently to officially launch the new sustainable garden room business Fresco Living, which has set up home in the Marina’s Unit 45.
Ben became the Ambassador for Fresco Living after Chartered Engineer & Co-founder Ian Waddingham learnt about Ben’s own project to build a garden room on social media. Ian approached Ben in April 2021 and asked him to become their ambassador due to his passion within the property industry and interest in garden rooms. Ben was more than happy to get involved and loved what Fresco are doing.
Last week Ben made the trip to Brighton Marina to launch the business. Ben said, ‘Fresco Living believes that our way of living has changed and continues to change at a rapid pace. Our homes need to do more for us, and this is why Fresco Living looks to provide a low maintenance, modern and flexible space to meet customer needs.’
Ben continued, “Fresco Living Garden Rooms are the ultimate investment for your outdoors creating the perfect solution for your work, rest and play space. The strength, flexibility and durability of the steel frame construction allows for dynamic and exciting designs from asymmetric roof lines, angled walls and even roof decks. The only limitation is your imagination!
Kirsty Pollard, Brighton Marina Centre Manager stated, ‘We are delighted Fresco Living have chosen Brighton Marina as their new home. This is a wonderful new alternative to the retail offering we currently have. It was exciting to meet Ben and see how enthusiastic he is about the benefits of what Fresco Living have to offer customers. It feels very positive to be able to welcome so many new tenants after the challenging times the Marina businesses have had during C-19.’
Ian said, ‘What sets us apart is that Fresco Living is founded by structural engineers. We have been at the forefront of developing modern methods of construction to create structures that are stronger, more sustainable and more efficient. We have utilised materials and products used for modern high-profile projects to provide architecturally striking designs which will match the longevity and comfort of people’s home.
Structural Engineer and Co-Founder Scott Hull said, Fresco Living earmarks a new generation of garden rooms which offer greater design possibilities and long-lasting construction techniques that allow for low to no maintenance. This is the key to what we do. We supply high quality versatile garden buildings. Through our network of approved installers, we provide a personal turnkey service from concept design to completion for the installation of our buildings.
Fresco Living has set up a showroom with a full-sized garden room surrounded by artificial grass and planters bringing the feel of the outside, into their Brighton Marina showroom.
