Award-winning parking app now available in Brighton
Brighton, UK – AppyParking, the UK’s most popular parking app has launched in Brighton to take all the stress and guesswork out of finding a parking space. The app, released in conjunction with Brighton City Council, is free to download and marks the next step in AppyParking’s mission to revolutionise parking in the UK.
AppyParking have worked with Brighton City Council to digitise and standardise parking regulations so that motorists can see all the on-street and off-street parking options. The app includes controlled parking zones, car parks, motorbike bays, disabled bays and even electric bays. To ensure users aren’t stung by fines, the app functions in real-time, marking zones that are available to park in green, and restricted areas in red. In just a few taps, Brighton residents can see the “Nearest & Cheapest” parking spaces available to them. Out now on both iOS and Android, AppyParking uses in-app navigation to guide them to the space.
Following the success of winning the People’s Choice Award at Virgin Media Business ‘Pitch To Rich’, AppyParking have been named as one of Evening Standard’s ‘Top Travel Apps for Londoners’ (alongside Uber and Citymapper) and were selected by the Mayor of London, to join him on a trade mission to Israel.
AppyParking’s Chief Executive Officer, Dan Hubert comments, “We’re thrilled to be working with Brighton City Council in order to provide our free app to the city’s residents. We truly have a great user community who are always letting us know what features or content they would like to see next. Our Brighton launch really is an important landmark in our mission to take the pain out of parking across the UK”.
Charles Field, Parking Strategy Manager said: “We have worked hard with AppyParking to show all the parking regulations clearly and quickly so that the motorist can find the best parking space for them.”
