After a rip roaring first year, Barker and Stonehouse’s thriving Hove store has become an ever-popular hotspot for interior shoppers and design enthusiasts.

The 1st April marks a year to the day since the Hove store’s doors first opened, welcoming in reams of excited crowds with the help of TV’s George Clarke. Introducing customers to a number of UK design premieres and offering guests a fantastic shopping experience, the store received over 2,000 visits in the opening weekend alone!

The £1.5m investment in this South East store immediately created 25 jobs for the area and a further 25 jobs were secured in the newly built, state-of-the-art 54,000 sq ft warehouse in Crawley.

Providing an impressive 35,000 sq ft of retail space across two-floors, the store showcases the family-run firm’s carefully-curated selection of designer furniture ranges, including renowned brands such as the luxury reclaimer Timothy Oulton and the contemporary Cattelan Italia. Introducing visitors to a dazzling array of beautifully designed and made furniture and accessories, the Brighton and Hove area has embraced Barker and Stonehouse’s signature flair for superior design and interior eclecticism.
