Bertram Bunny’s Easter Pirate Adventure at Borde Hill Garden Saturday 2nd – Saturday 17th April 2021
This Easter holiday, spend precious time together as a family for pirate-themed fun and nature-filled discoveries at Borde Hill Garden, near Haywards Heath in West Sussex.
Being outside in nature has numerous health and wellbeing benefits, and in line with current government guidance the local community and Borde Hill Members can enjoy fresh air and exercise in a stunning tranquil setting. There are many COVID secure precautions in place to offer visitors reassurance, including a pre-bookable admission system and a suggested route around the Garden.
Join Bertram Bunny on a fantasy ‘Easter Island’ trail, exploring the Garden while seeking out the treasure hidden by Jumping Jack Bunny who has returned from the high seas. Find all the treasures and solve some puzzles along the way to receive a treat.
Children can also let off steam in the Adventure Playground, where they can swing, climb, balance and slide their way through a series of equipment, including a thrilling zip wire for the most adventurous. It’s all the inspiration you need for a cracking day out!
When it’s time for a break, refuel with a delicious Easter-themed treat to take away from the Gardeners’ Retreat Café. Ideal refreshment after playground exertions!
Spring is also a magical time to explore the Garden and Woodland, with an abundance of flowering magnolias, some grown to champion trees measuring 60 feet height, as well as camellias, rhododendrons, hellebores, and daffodils. Picnics and dogs on leads are welcome.
