Upon booking the hotel, guests are given a choice of which room they would like to stay within, each with its own unique theme, décor and colour scheme. There is a room to suit every taste from Legacia’s art deco backdrop, Pommery’s Champagne theme to Alice’s fantasy mirror look.
If you like quirky and contemporary, then uplifting ‘Alice’ room with its mirror-patterned wallpapered room is your Wonderland! This delightful superior double room was inspired by Lewis Carroll’s legendary character Alice and her adventures – an iconic take that happened to be written right there in Kemptown! On opening the door to the Alice Room, you’ll find yourself being welcomed by an enchanting and bright room with a fun take on the looking glass theme. Even the en-suite shower room has a magical feel.
Lovers of Art Deco style and a touch of luxury will be enchanted by the Legacia feature room, with its chandelier, super king-sized bed and glorious side-sea view from the superb Regency bay window. The stylish bathroom, with free standing roll top bath and separate shower, completes the experience – immerse yourself in a bygone era.
The jewel in the Blanch House crown has to be the Pommery feature room. Founded in 1836, Pommery is among the most prestigious Champagne houses. The Blanch House Pommery Room marks the hotel’s partnership with the brand and pays homage to the incredible Madame Pommery.
Drawing on inspiration from this Grand Dame, the Pommery Room is decorated in rich gold tones with sumptuous furnishings, with modern twists from accents of the Pommery branding. The bright room fills you with a sense of escapism with light streaming through the side sea view room. Watch the world go by or relax in the bath with a glass of Pommery.
The rooms all range in terms of sizes and room rates available, starting with a cosy double going up to a rather grand feature double – some can also be made a twin. Each of the 12 individually styled rooms are equipped to meet both your needs, whether you are there on a jolly or you mean business. All room rates are inclusive of a freshly-cooked full English and continental award-winning breakfast. Breakfast is served in the sophisticated ‘Belle Epoque’ dining room, situated at the rear of the building.
