Bone Idol – working with Olivier Award-winning actor Adrian Scarborough

We were absolutely over the moon to work with Olivier award-winning actor Adrian Scarborough recently, who contributed a moving missive about his beloved westie Watson to Bone Idol’s Love Letters to My Dog series.

Anyone who has loved and lost a dog will be able to relate to Adrian’s heartfelt sentiments, and at Bone Idol we all shed a tear or two when we read what he had written.

Adrian of course needs no introduction, whether you know him as Gavin and Stacey’s Pete, Mr Jolly in Psychoville or for roles in The Kings Speech or on the stage he is a stalwart character actor of UK theatre, television and film.

He joins a diverse and interesting list of names who have taken part in our Love Letters series, including legendary music journalist Kris Needs, Nina Walsh of the Sabres of Paradise record label and Baggy, the UK’s first air pollution monitoring dog.

We even interviewed the owners of a dog named Joe Biden at the time of the US general election!

Loving your dog is a universal, and what all of these stories show is just how strong that bond is.
