Bone Idol’s dog Christmas gift guide
It’s almost Christmas, and at Bone Idol, like for all retailers in Brighton, it’s been a strange and scary old year!
Everyone has been forced to adapt their ways of working, shutting down, and opening up again at a moment’s notice, it has been hard, and we would like to thank our wonderful and loyal customers for their amazing support.
One thing is for certain, lockdown hasn’t lessened how much people in Brighton love their dogs, in fact we think it’s made us love them even more.
Particularly the first-time home workers who become closer to their dogs than ever before, or the families who brought home new arrivals during the summer puppy boom!
Christmas is going to be different too, and, because Christmas is the perfect time of year to thank our dogs for getting us through a trying year, we have put together this festive gift guide of treats, which will be sure to prompt a wagging tail!

Advent calendars: The run up to Christmas wouldn’t be the same without an Advent calendar, and the ones we stock at Bone Idol contain a wonderful range of tasty and healthy treats. Your dog is going to be really excited to open a new door every day until Christmas! (£18.99)
Christmas jumpers: No Christmas would be complete without a wacky festive sweater, and at Bone Idol we have a brilliant range. Our current favourite is the Wolters ‘Elk Glitter’ jumper, which comes in beige, black and red and has a glitter finish running through the wool. (£13.99 for smallest size – £23.99 for largest size)
Kong Elf and Bears: All dogs love a Kong, the popular toy which gives their brain a workout as well as delivering a tasty treat. And for Christmas Kong have delivered a Yuletide Elf toy (£10.99) and we think the bears (£9.99) are pretty jolly too!
Leads and collars: If you are looking for something really special, we recommend a beautiful lead and collar. We have an excellent range in store, including exclusive items from Dogs and Horses.

Beds: One of the best things about Christmas is Christmas night, new PJs and a warm bed, and it’s no exception for our doggies. At Bone Idol we stock gorgeous Danish Design beds, and this ‘lumberjack’ bed looks perfect to us for reclining in front of the tree when the turkey has been devoured! (£72.99)
Food: As we all tuck into our Christmas dinner, it’s only fair that our furry friends should have a big treat too, and that big treat doesn’t have to compromise on nutrition. At Bone Idol we have our own range of food, and for the festive season we are stocking a complete grain free option with turkey, garden vegetables and cranberries (£13.99 for 2kg).
