Brought to you by Jose Cuervo Tequila and Kraken Black Spiced Rum
A taste of Mexico in Kemptown – without doubt Mexican street food has been the culinary sensation of late, and The Sidewinder in Kemptown have teamed up with ‘Bang Bang Burrito’ to be the first Brighton pub to offer this exciting cuisine. Following a hugely successful takeaway joint on Jubilee Street, Bang Bang Burrito – an independent Brighton business – will take its Mexican food to the Sidewinder in Kemptown from March.
Accompanying their new Mexican offering, Jose Cuervo have a great range of tequila cocktails to compliment the food. We also can’t wait to get into The Sidewinder’s sunny garden over the April bank holiday to see the first Jose Cuervo frozen margarita machine unveiled. How amazing would this look in your back garden!
The Western Front, The World’s End and The Tempest bar (opening end of April) are on our radar. Keep an eye out for the giant Kraken murals donning the pubs with their massive tentacles, snapping ships and swallowing them up whole! @thekrakenrum_uk
‘The Kraken’s Lair’ – a black tentacle clad hotel suite from The Kraken Rum opens at Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton
The Kraken Rum and Hotel Pelirocco – the UK’s most rock & roll hotel – have created a 300 foot square bedroom suite suitable for even the most demanding Kraken hunter.
‘Think Ink’ is the theme for the reception room which is entirely black and features over 40 feet of glossy black tentacles adoring a cage style day bed. Other furnishing details include black skull lights, black light switches and electrical fittings, black vinyl floor, black skulls and even black rubber curtains. There is also the option of a hammock for guests checking in who prefer these to a landlubbers bed option. The Kraken hunting design team have also adorned the walls with black Kraken ‘skin’.
Hotel Pelirocco can be found at 10 Regency Square, Brighton, the suite costing from £150 a night including supplies of rum.
