Brighton & Hove Buses will run emergency Sunday and bank holiday timetables this Easter weekend.
The timetable will apply on Good Friday 10 April, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday and on every Sunday and bank holiday until further notice. The normal Monday to Saturday special timetable will run on the Saturday, as it is not a public holiday.
You can find detailed timetables here.
After Easter, the bus company will revert to special timetables, which have been set to comply with government rules around social distancing on buses and produced in consultation with Brighton & Hove City Council.
While the timetable takes into account a 90% fall in passenger numbers, there is a continued focus on maintaining early morning bus services for key workers, particularly those bus routes serving hospitals.
This timetable includes a temporary reduction in daytime and evening buses and a halt to night bus routes, reflecting the government’s advice for people to limit their travel during this time.
The company is continuing to encourage passengers to observe social distancing and to pay by contactless or mobile phone to protect drivers. It’s also important to travel only when journeys are essential.
Meanwhile, the bus company is maintaining an enhanced cleaning schedule, including bus deep cleans, while paying particular attention to frequent touch-points, like hand rails and stop buttons.
