Time to get dapper for the annual Gentlemen’s Day out at the gigis!

Taking place at Brighton racecourse on an early summer Friday afternoon in June – Gentlemen’s Day is always a popular day out. This year proves no different with a record number of tickets already sold!

Brighton Racecourse promises a superb day at the races on the 8th of June with pop up luxury gin bars supplied by Whitley Neill, the main sponsor of the day, a vintage airstream hosting the Café crème cigar lounge and ample deck chairs on the lawn with a vintage jazz band to get you in the swing of things.


Let’s not forget the 7 thrilling races that gets the crowd cheering. Brighton racecourse is one of the most unique tracks in the country with panoramic views of the vibrant city of Brighton, the sea, and the surrounding countryside. A great place to perch and watch the sun go down on a summers day!

A free shuttle bus from Brighton station means no-one needs to draw the short straw of being the designated driver, although there’s plenty of free parking on site too. As well as enjoying a flutter and a tipple, racegoers can enjoy fantastic food at Silks Restaurant, which is offering a brand-new menu this year, there’s also great offerings from the various food carts and kiosks located around the site.

Ticket prices for Gentlemen’s Day start at £17 for earlybird bookings with a few fantastic packages available allowing you to save a few pounds! The Treble Package is great value and gets you Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure ticket, a pint and a hearty pie all for £20! Or why not upgrade the package for an extra £5 to the Double Stake Package which includes Premier Enclosure entry (located closer to the winning post and allows access to the premier lawn), a marinated beef roll and a pint all for £25!

The racing season at Brighton Racecourse runs throughout the summer to October, with the year’s main highlight being the three-day Festival of Racing on 8th – 11th August and the Sunday Fun Day on 2nd September.
