Designer Clothes Shop Brings Exclusive Argentinian Brands to Central Brighton
Handmade, high-quality Argentinian dresses and urban wear will be available in Brighton for the first time this November with the opening of new clothes retailer, Forget Me Not.
Spread over two floors in Prince Albert Street, in the Lanes, the store is the first and only European stockist of leading Argentinian designers Natalia Antolin and Jazmin Chebar, and bags and accessories firm Juanita Jo. Forget Me Not is the creation of four friends and local residents Narela Ortolani, Gisela Paulucci, Sebastian Puga and Brighton & Hove defender Ezequiel Schelotto.
The store’s motto is “More than clothes” and there will be an emphasis on unhurried, luxurious shopping, with friendly, expert advice, 360-degree mirrors so you can be sure you look amazing, sofas and free drinks.
The Natalia Antolin collection features one-off, elegant dresses, many with intricate embroidery, by a designer who has created outfits for Daniella Semaan, Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas’s wife, and Antonella Roccuzzo, the wife of international football icon Lionel Messi. Jazmin Chebar’s urban wear features bright beautiful flowers and colours.
Forget Me Not will cater for women of all shapes and sizes. The pieces will feel incredible to wear and are cut exquisitely to highlight the beauty of women.
“It’ll be great to share the best of my country’s fashion in Brighton,” says Narela Ortolani, who moved to Hove, three years ago. “We have created an inspiring concept, which will be accompanied by great customer service, exhibiting beautiful brands with authentic value, full of creativity and quality, that will stand out in the UK.”
“I’m in love with Argentinian design. I hope people enjoy our clothes as much as I do,” adds Gisela Paulucci. “The brands have a style and freshness that elegantly represent our country.”
