Dogs are Riding Waves for World Record Attempt at Paddle Round The Pier
Paddle Round the Pier takes place in Brighton this July where Pet-Fi will host a world record attempt for the most dogs on paddleboards.
Brighton and Hove Beach will welcome Europe’s largest free beach festival that attracts over 50,000 visitors over a fun packed weekend. Pet-Fi will launch The Doggie Paddle at the festival where they hope to achieve a world record for the most Dogs and their owners on Paddle Boards for a simultaneous 15 minute group paddle.
Paddle Round the Pier has raised over £300,000 for charity in its 21 successful years, and as we are in the year of the dog it seems only fair to let our four legged friends take centre stage. The Doggie Beach will feature a series of talks and workshops during 7th & 8th July with the world record attempt taking place on Sunday.
Jen Stevens, founder of Pet-Fi says, “Working with Paddle Round the Pier is the perfect collaboration as people in Brighton and further afield love getting in the water with their dogs. Pet-Fi was made to enrich the lives of dogs and their owners and what better way to celebrate than with a world record!”
Members of the public and their dogs are invited to take part at the record attempt. Join us from 5pm to take part or just come and watch history take place!
