Electric Hair Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary
On Sunday 17th June 2017, Electric held an event to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary. Held at the very home of Electric’s first ever salon, Brighton, it was hosted by founder of Electric and International Creative Director, Mark Woolley. The spectacular event was hosted at Mark’s recently renovated Great Falmer Barn, a grand thatched barn surrounded by acres of beautiful land. It also marks the start of many great things to come. Falmer has been announced as the future of Electric. It will become the brands worldwide HQ as well as incorporating a destination salon, production lab and educational facility.
The event welcomed Electric’s salon teams from across the UK and included: London, Brighton, Reading, Oxford, Edinburgh and Liverpool. Mark’s family, close friends as well as peers and recognisable faces from the industry were also in attendance to celebrate a very successful decade.
Guests were greeted by Electric’s infamous double decker bus which served its purpose as the bar for the evening, serving Gin & Fizz cocktails. Before guests enjoyed the rest of the garden party with food, games and a live band, Mark Woolley took to the stage for a retrospective look back at what they’ve achieved.
Mark went on to explain: ‘‘The Electric Family is all about being passionate about what we do and making people happy. Since our birth in 2007 we have established a collection of 6 salons, a globally renowned Artistic Team, a photographic studio and a professional product line which is sold in leading salons and locations around the world. We’ve built something special here.’’
Mark congratulated his team members for their latest promotions and then gave guests an exclusive preview of what he has planned for the future of Electric and that great thatched barn…. WATCH THIS SPACE.
