Europe’s first LINE FRIENDS and BT21 Themed Cafe Launches In Brighton
Specialist Kawaii retailer ARTBOX and global character brand LINE FRIENDS have teamed up to launch Europe’s first LINE FRIENDS and BT21 themed cafe near Brighton Pier.
Re-launching on Monday 17th May, you can dine with your favourite animated characters and experience a taste of unique culture with LINE FRIENDS at ARTBOX Cafe in their cutest character activation yet.
In a first for the UK, Brighton is the newest home for LINE FRIENDS, which has previously launched their stores in Seoul, Tokyo and New York City and now Brighton.
LINE FRIENDS is a global character brand that originally started from BROWN & FRIENDS, created for use as stickers for the leading mobile messenger app LINE and its 200 million active users worldwide.
ARTBOX Cafe – the first dedicated character themed café in the UK, runs this exclusive partnership until late summer 2021 and will see ARTBOX introduce LINE FRIENDS’ BROWN & FRIENDS and BT21 characters across their sit-down eaterie, take out counter and shopping boutique.
In a complete takeover, the café has been renamed ‘LINE FRIENDS & BT21 Tasty Universe’ for the duration of the partnership. Guests to the super cute space can enjoy a branded eat-in menu with a range of delicious desserts and drinks. Themed ice creams will also be available from its takeaway parlour.
The new boutique eaterie is a pastel paradise with soft mint, lilac and pale pink backgrounds to complement the cute animated LINE FRIENDS & BT21 characters featured throughout the two-floor space.
Upstairs guests can enjoy themed drinks and dishes inspired by BT21 characters like a pastel blue sleepy KOYA fruity doughnut in the shape of the synonymous BT21 character. Baked locally and filled with delicious jam and served with blueberry ice cream and a salted caramel macaron.
Or if savoury is more your thing, maybe you’ll choose the RJ Omnomnom Curry featuring sticky rice which is a perfect match for RJ’s fluffy fur coat and face. Catering for all dietary requirements, you’ll find vegan and gluten-free options on the menu, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
If you fancy a warming or perhaps refreshing drink while you dine you’ll receive one of seven collectable complimentary BT21 coasters that you can take home!
Downstairs in the parlour, you can choose from 18 sumptuous ice cream flavours and enjoy themed LINE FRIENDS cups or cones, alongside popping bubble iced teas, specialist coffees and hot chocolates.
The café will also have a retail area which will sell sought after LINE FRIENDS products from UK licensees including GB Eye, Paladone and Aurora in addition to stocking rare and hard to find items from the LINE FRIENDS stores’ original ranges. And as if that wasn’t enough, you can pick up ARTBOX Cafe exclusive collaborative goodies, including a collection of pins, tote bags and mugs.
