Get in the fast lane this March and raise money for Sports Relief.
Throughout March, Lets Race – the UK’s only full-motion Formula 1 race simulation centre – is launching a special initiative to raise funds for Sport Relief 2018. The state-of-the-art simulation venue in Horley, on the borders of Surrey and Sussex, will be donating £1 to Sport Relief for every practice race experience that is booked and taken between 1st and 31st March.
Not only that, but everyone who books a session will also be entered into a prize draw to win an incredible prize – a day’s hire of a Tesla car*, courtesy of their partners White Car. There is no cap on the number of times anyone can enter the competition so, with every practice session purchased, customers have even more chance of winning.
If that were not enough, Lets Race is also throwing in a £100 gift voucher for the driver who sets the fastest lap on practice sessions throughout the month.
Ben Stephenson, Commercial Director at Lets Race, commented: “Sport Relief supports so many incredible projects around the world so we are delighted to launch this initiative to help increase their donations.
“Formula 1 is a hugely popular sport with over 2.52 million people viewing the race day action last year alone. However, many people do not automatically connect it to a sport that requires physical exertion, despite the fact that drivers have to be in peak physical shape to cope with the demands of their car’s G-force. Whilst the simulators at Lets Race only mimic up to 200 mph G-force, our customers do still come away feeling a workout. Taking part is a great, fun way to do something uniquely sporty and support a wonderful charity at the same time.”
Practice sessions at Lets Race are available every day and start from just £14.95. Each practice session includes a compulsory safety briefing, plus a 25-minute race experience in a car of the driver’s choice.
