Glenn Wool: Wool’s Gold

With a vibrant comedy career that spans over twenty years, Glenn Wool is back and ready to tear it up in Brighton

Glenn, who currently co-hosts the Free-styling podcast alongside Frankie Boyle, has just been added to the fantastic line-up at the Brighton Comedy Festival following five star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The Guardian said he’s “effortlessly funny with an affability that other comics can only dream of,” while the Independent labelled him simply as “absolutely hilarious”.

Glenn began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995 before moving to London in 1998. He quickly became one of the rising stars of the London and international comedy circuit, thanks to performances in Australia, New Zealand, America, South Africa, Switzerland, France, Croatia and Arabia.

He has been nominated for Best International Stand Up at The New Zealand Comedy Awards and Best Headliner at the Chortle Awards.

He’s also a popular addition to many of the great summer festivals in the UK, including Reading & Leeds, Latitude, Bestival, Download and now Brighton’s Comedy Festival.

The two week festival is set to take over Brighton’s best venues during the month of October and Glenn will be right in the thick of it as he performs at the Brighton Dome Studio on October 17th.
