The much-anticipated Pier Nine Brighton will be taking its place as one of the city’s most exciting venues with a launch party like never before, featuring an exclusive DJ set by Greg James from BBC Radio 1.

The 24-hour party will be jam-packed with an array of acts and live entertainment, including ninety minutes of music from Greg James (BBC Radio 1), as well as a DJ set by Peaky Blinders’ own Packy Lee and a performance like no other from revolutionary LGBTQ+ DJ Jodie Harsh.

The £5.2 million transformation of the existing Grosvenor Casino Brighton into a vibrant leisure destination now known as Pier Nine was announced back in August 2019. After six months of work, the highly anticipated venue is now ready to bring something completely unique to Brighton’s vibrant cultural scene.

Inspired by its Art Deco heritage, the stylish venue is set across three floors, giving customers access to stylish bars, modern eateries, two classic casinos, a range of fun and competitive games, as well as a private cinema and karaoke space to hire.

Bob Bowry, General Manager of Pier Nine Brighton, said: “The launch of Pier Nine will provide entertainment in all its forms so those on the guest list can party from dusk till dawn. We’re excited to announce that Greg James will be headlining the 24-hour event alongside a variety of other brilliant acts. It’s going to be a day and night to remember, and the perfect way to officially launch the venue.”
