HOTEL L’ARCHIPEL CELEBRATES 35 YEARS OF HOSPITALITY AND SERVICE
This month Hotel L’Archipel celebrates 35 years of delighting travellers from all over the word and making holiday dreams come true.
We opened doors to our first guests on the 11th of April 1987 and have ever since strived to create unforgettable holiday experiences through exceptional service, an unrivalled passion for the hospitality industry and of course our unique Creole flair. Inspired by the vision of the hotel’s late departed owner, Louis d’Offay, one of the pioneers of Seychelles’ hospitality industry and a tourism icon, Hotel L’Archipel’s “home away from home” model is built on the principle of offering all guests the very best personalised service ensuring that expectations are not only met but surpassed complemented with creating a warm and inviting home-like feeling set in one of Praslin’s most exclusive locations. Guests leave as family and friends, often returning again and again throughout the years.
In celebration of this milestone achievement, we hosted a special cocktail and dinner party to mark the occasion as well as recognise our incredible long serving team members for their excellent years of service to the hotel. Among the attendees were the Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles Mr Ahmed Afif, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism Mr Sylvestre Radegonde, the Principal Secretary for Tourism Mrs Sherin Francis, the Director-General for Destination Marketing Mrs. Bernadette Willemin, the Director-General for destination Planning and Development for Tourism Mr Paul Lebon, the MNAs for Praslin Hon. Churchill Gill, Hon. Wavel Woodcock and Hon. Doyace Poris as well as many of our valued industry partners, members of staff, family, friends and hotel guests.
Our success over the last 35 years would not have been possible without the support of our valued guests, our dedicated team and of course our committed industry partners – to them we extend our heartfelt thanks. In a particularly challenging last few years, the support has provided encouragement as we strive to continuously improve on the quality of our services and deliver the very best.
