HOWL-O-WEEN Brighton October 2017, The biggest canine event of the year, 28th October 2017

 

Calling all dog lovers. Howl 0 Ween Brighton is a major dog event in Sussex focused on achieving a Guinness World Record for the most dogs in Bandanas.  It is the perfect occasion to showcase your canine brands and designs with over 5,000 owners and 2,000 dogs from across the UK and Europe expected to attend. Furthermore, the festival is organised in partnership with the Dogs Trust and as a show of support, proceeds of £1 will be donated with every ticket purchased.  


The festival will commence with a VIP and Influencer Dogs Breakfast 

Registration and pre-registration

Space is limited to participate in the World Records attempt and you will need to pre- register. Ticket sales are now open for the event and at just £1, tickets are limited.

Registration beginning at 9am for Guinness World Record participants and at 10am to the general public

 

Draft schedule for the day: 

    •       6am – 8am  Vendor registration and install 

    •       8am – 10am VIP and Influencer Breakfast

    •       9am – 1030am – Event registration for Guinness World Record attempt. Pet medical certificates and eligibility checked. 

    •       10am  –  Event open to the general public 

    •       Rides open – Food stalls open (not sure if alcohol should be sold until midday?)  Face painting opens. Pumpkin carving opens. Balloon art opens. Draw your pet opens. VIP pets centre opens. 

    •       STAGE – Music from JUICE 

    •       Presenters are interviewing influencers and participants at the VIP pets area

    •       STAGE 10am -11am – TRICK OR TREAT – Getting kids to show us tricks their dogs can do on stage to enter the prize draw

    •       STAGE – 11am – 1pm – Guinness World Record attempt and photo moment 

    •       STAGE 1-330pm – Costume judging competitions (these tend to take at least 20 minutes each category and sometimes more – we may need to limit the participants) – 

    •       Presenters are interviewing winning participants

    •       Best costume – puppy

    •       Best dressed bitch

    •       Best dressed male

    •       Best dressed rescue

    •       Best dressed golden oldie

    •       Best kids costume

    •       Best adults costume

    •       Best dressed family

    •       STAGE 3:30 -3:45– Higher Nature presentation about fireworks and stressed dogs 

    •       STAGE 3:45-4pm – Charity Slot – IVDD awareness? 

    •       STAGE 4pm-415pm – Best pumpkin carving – show this on a screen so people can see? 

    •       STAGE 415-430pm – Best drawing of their dog – show this on a screen so people can see? 

    •       STAGE 430-445pm – TRICK OR TREAT FINALS 

    •       STAGE 445-5pm – Results from the Guinness World Records and updates on the next event
