London Mozart Players Play On at The Grand Eastbourne

Celebrated chamber orchestra the London Mozart Playerswill be performing with a weekend of music and entertainment at The Grand Hotel Eastbourne.

Returning to the five-star seaside hotel for the 18th year, the world-renowned London Mozart Players are a favourite diary date at the hotel!


The weekend of unmissable musical entertainment will begin on Friday 7th February, with an evening concert of stylish chamber music gems including quintets from Beethoven, Dove, Hummel and of course Mozart.

During Saturday guests can enjoy a historical talk by Sebastian Comberti on Richard Strauss’ masterpiece, Metamorphosen, followed by afternoon tea and pastries which are served while Shelley van Loen and the Palm Court Strings play by the Great Hall fire. There will also be an opportunity to join the musicians for an open rehearsal as they prepare for the evening’s concert which will be directed by Ruth Rogers.

Following Saturday evening’s concert, dinner with wine will be served in the Garden Restaurant, and the dancing will commence to the sound of the Simon Goodwin Band in one of the Grand’s elegant lounges afterwards.

Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast on Sunday morning and have the day free to explore the beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne or enjoy the hotel’s health club and leisure facilities.

Recognised as the UK’s first chamber orchestra, the London Mozart Players were established in 1949 by Harry Blech and are now an internationally renowned musical collective performing and thrilling audiences around the world with bothlive performances and CD recordings.
