Multi-award winning comedian Nathan Cassidy with 3 solo shows at this year’s Fringe.
Award-winning comedian Nathan Cassidy brings three solo shows to the Brighton Fringe 2022. Another chance to catch his 2020 Leicester Comedy Festival Best show nominated Observational, the Off West End Awards nominated follow-up Bumblebee and Fringe Premiere of new show Hot Tub God.
In Observational, Nathan joins a gym and a big, strong man changes his life forever. An uplifting and magical show. The only live show at the Edinburgh Fringe 2020 and Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival 2020.
‘A classic, rollercoaster Fringe hour. Star in waiting…he is untouchable’ ✭✭✭✭ The Times 2020
Bumblebee is a hilarious and thrilling true crime stand-up show. You get home, there’s a burglar, let’s play! A total sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021. Best show nominee at the Buxton and Manchester Fringe 2021 and Off West End Stage Awards Nominee 2021.
‘Funny, astute and surprisingly warm-hearted’ ✭✭✭✭ North West End UK 2021
And in brand new show Hot Tub God, Nathan tries to find something uplifting from this cruel world of war and lying leaders, as he works out what the hell to say in a speech for his best friend’s third wedding.
Nathan Cassidy is a multi-award winning comedian and host of global hit podcasts Psycomedy and Daily Notes. His shows are laugh-filled, thought provoking and always full of magical surprises! Here’s a chance to catch three shows from this critically acclaimed comedian with a multitude of accolades in the last 2 years. In addition to the Best Show Nomination at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2020, Nathan was the only live performer at the Edinburgh Fringe 2020, and Bumblebee was a total sell out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021 and was nominated for 3 awards last year including an Off West End Stage Award.
Nathan Cassidy says ‘The last 2 years have been hard for most of us so I wanted to produce shows that reflect the times but ultimately are uplifting and hopeful. It’s great to be able to perform all three shows at two brilliant venues The Quadrant and Caroline of Brunswick with the Laughing Horse. I love telling the magical true story in Observational. And then when I found a burglar in my house during the Pandemic I couldn’t have imagined the true crime story that was about to unfold and I’d be able to tell in Bumblebee. And in Hot Tub God, in some ways I tie up a trilogy, by talking about the truth, the state of the world, and whether we want and can handle the truth. Hopefully people can get the chance to see all three, I’d love that!
