Music Theatre 2000 and Showtime Productions have announced their fantastic annual traditional family pantomime

Dick Whittington,  Playing at the Windmill Theatre, Hove  from Saturday 21st Following the incredible success of Jack & The Beanstalk, Aladdin and Snow White, this year promises to be even more spectacular. With some old faces and some new faces, be prepared for a night of laughter and magic.

We follow Dick Whittington as he makes his journey from Gloucester to London whilst he meets a number of characters along the way. Will he take Alice’s hand in marriage and earn the trust of her father? Will he help get the rats out of London and achieve his dream of becoming mayor?

This years cast features the return of Madi Horne  as Dick, Grace Riach  as Tommy, Lea Spells  as Fairy Bowbells, Louis Craig  as King Rat, Tony Bright  as Sarah the Cook, Nathan Potter  as Idle Jack, Guy Dudeney  as Alderman Fitzwarren and Sophie Collins  as The Queen of the Sea (as well as other very fun roles!). We welcome Georgia Winstanley  as Alice to the company in her first pantomime role ever!

Our fantastic Ensemble are diploma and degree students from the Institute for Contemporary Theatre  in Brighton, and our Babes are all students at Drama Queens  , a theatre school for children and teenagers. As a company, we have many connections to the community. We focus on bringing together industry professionals, drama school graduates and local talent.

This is a charity production, raising money for Chestnut Tree House  , a children’s hospice for East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire that cares for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions. Our recent offering, Snow White, raised over £3000 for charity from the profits. We hope to surpass that this year.
