November 2020 Exhibitions & Events at Colonnade House

This month, you will find plenty of autumnal inspiration at Colonnade House.

Transport yourself to a miniature woodland of hand-turned trees curated by Forge Creative. Find out what local artists have been doing and making during lockdown at Drive to Create and at Our World in Our Words see young people confront their feelings about the pandemic and global issues through word art. We end the month with the return of artist Anna Vartiainen with her whimsical take on seasonal changes. Find all of this and more at Worthing’s creative hub.

Our World in Our Words

10 – 15 November 2020

Over lockdown Apron supplied packs of free art resources to young people in Adur & Worthing, inviting them to make their mark on this moment in history.

Shoreham-by-Sea based Apron Creative took the initiative at the start of the pandemic to send creative packs to diverse groups of young people to document their experiences. Starting locally, and with plans to become UK-wide, this project is inspired by the graphics of protest placards and is a unique record of the times
