Omid Djalilli: The Good Times Tour, Worthing Assembly Hall, Thursday, September 9.

Provocative, silly and always supremely entertaining, Omid Djalili is coming to Worthing this September with his celebratory new show, The Good Times Tour.

The Good Times Tour does what it says on the tin and serves up a seriously good evening of stand-up comedy. Djalili waxes lyrical about life, the universe, and this strange new world in which we currently find ourselves. Take the night off to laugh about this unfathomable state of affairs at Worthing Assembly Hall on Thursday 9 September, 8pm.

It’s been a tough year, and Djalili knows this better than anyone. He experimented with Zoom shows where he was muted by 639 people; he had a drive-in gig where an audience member literally got out of their car to attach a hose pipe to his exhaust and feed it through the window! Through it all, Djalili refuses to accept defeat and brings his razor-sharp wit and boundless energy back to the stage. Belly laughs are paired with his expertly crafted cultural observations, perfectly skewering modern Britain. Plus, it’s all live performance so no mute buttons allowed!

Djalili’s career in comedy spans three decades with legendary stand-up shows and accolades including the Time Out Award for Best Stand-Up and the EMMA Award. He’s appeared in Hollywood films, on the West End and in the BBC/HBO adaptation of the Philip Pullman classic, His Dark Materials; he even gained rave reviews as the leading role of Tevvye in the Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of Fiddler On The Roof. In other words, this ‘flamboyant luvvie’ (The Guardian) is a safe and hilarious pair of hands.

Omid Djalili: The Good Times Tour will be playing at the Assembly Hall on Thursday 9 September, 8pm. Tickets are available from £26.50. For more information on this or any of the events, visit or call the WTM Box Office on 01903 206 206.
