Opening June 2020 Rockwater Hove’s Shacks By The Shore
New beach hut bars offer insight into the vision for Hove’s fitness and wellbeing scene from the town’s newest contemporary seaside restaurant Local Founder and Lead Investor of Rockwater Hove, Luke Davis, is available to speak about the launch and his desire to unite the community Launching in time for Father’s Day, Rockwater Hove’s Shacks By the Shore, a new food and beverage destination along Hove’s seafront, will open to the public. Shacks By The Shore will provide an outdoor space for the Hove community to enjoy locally sourced produce,
ranging from delicious local charcuterie and cheese boards to a taste of the Sussex coast with delicious seafood platters, all while ensuring that social distancing protocols are adhered to and the transferring of food and drinks to guests is perfectly safe.
Found on the Western Esplanade of Hove’s seafront promenade, Rockwater Hove is transforming the former pub, The Venue, providing a more contemporary offering – perfect for family and friends to socialise in comfort. The Shacks By The Shore will provide guests an insight to what they should be able to expect upon a full opening of Rockwater Hove in the coming months, with a continuity of branding and food & drink offerings. Furthering their credentials as a wellness and lifestyle hub for the Hove community, Rockwater Hove will be collaborating with leading local fitness groups such as Underground Gym and Uber Mummies to ensure that inclusive fitness classes have exciting new workspaces to enjoy.

of the Shacks By The Shore: “Our vision for Rockwater Hove was to provide a community hub in Hove that reflected the heritage of our beautiful seafront. Our concept for the Shacks By The Shore will be a taste of what’s to come upon a full opening. Our vision for Rockwater Hove is that it will be far more than a restaurant and bar that serves as a new community hub, but it will be a wellness
centre, offering fitness classes through multiple exciting collaborations with local fitness experts.
I believe that what we are offering at Rockwater Hove is totally unique to the South East. We are empowering the local community and economy through this project. From coffee to fitness, we are working with our community to provide the best locally sourced produce and trainers, and the Shacks By The Shore will be the first reflection of this. As lockdown restrictions are slowly being lifted, we hope that people can enjoy our offerings in a socially distanced fashion too. We will of course be providing clear signage so that friends and family can have a memorable experience in the safest way possible.”
