Political drag-theatre comes to Brighton Fringe for two nights only.
Meet Polly. She doesn’t care what you think. All she wants is to be equal, for everyone to be equal. In an evening of hyper pop, gig-theatre, spoken word, and drag tomfoolery watch as Polly attempts to take over the government, no matter the cost. In a new version of the show that eviscerates the current state of politics, award-winning performer Joe Strickland tells a story as old as time; a story of power, corruption, and farting about in a dress.
“Embodiment of the radical potential of drag” (The Scotsman)
“A compelling, powerful piece that investigates political division and the nature of power in a whirlwind of a performance” (The Wee Review)
