SEA LIFE BRIGHTON ANNOUNCES SILENT DISCO LIKE NO OTHER THIS CHRISTMAS
SEA LIFE Brighton has announced a party like no other this Christmas, as guests will be able to enjoy a silent disco inside the attraction’s historic Victorian arcade.
The world’s oldest operating aquarium, SEA LIFE Brighton, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, is hosting the silent disco with a twist this December, as guests can enjoy an evening among the mesmerising sea creatures and iconic architecture as a year of celebrations comes to an end.
The historic attraction was opened formally to the public in August 1872 and immediately become popular with the Brighton community and beyond. The aquarium has played an important role in the local area over the years, acting as a location for concerts, lectures and even an RAF base during World War 2.
In 1991, SEA LIFE Brighton was born, as Merlin Entertainments acquired the aquarium and rehabilitated and released captive sea mammals back into the wild. Following a £1.5m restoration project, the building has remained a conservational and educational site to this very day.
Guests will be able to bask in the history of SEA LIFE Brighton at the silent disco, which will take place under the spectacular Victorian arches within the attraction.
With doors opening at 5.30pm, visitors will be able to pick up their headsets and dance along with the sea creatures for just £16 per person all the way until 7.30pm, with slushies and soft drinks available throughout the evening. Headsets are suitable for customers aged 3+.
All tickets will need to be booked in advance, with limited availability. Babies under 12 months can enter for free with an accompanying adult ticket. To book your ticket please head to the landing page here: https://www.visitsealife.com/brighton/explore/events/christmas-silent-disco/
