Silversands Grenada: The Spice Island of the Caribbean no longer requires visitors to quarantine
Grenada has today announced that they will no longer require fully vaccinated visitors to quarantine upon arrival, making a winter sun break all the more feasible. The perfect spot from which to enjoy everything the spice island of the Caribbean has to offer is Silversands, Grenada, the ultimate luxury hideaway. Since opening in December 2018, Silversands has introduced a new level of modern luxury to Grenada, on the wild beauty of Grand Anse Beach. The island is an ideal destination for visitors looking to escape the colder climes for some winter sun, lush mountain ranges, powder-soft white sands, warm turquoise waters and laid-back days. The beachside retreat is renowned for its heartfelt service, locally driven cuisine, ultra-sleek design, including its 100m swimming pool – the longest in the Caribbean – and this year, a spectacular calendar of festive fun. From morning yoga and evenings at the Beach Lounge with live local music, to culinary competitions, local rum tastings and sunset cocktails, there really is something for everyone. Christmas Day celebrations will include a poolside BBQ and DJ, and a visit from Father Christmas too. To ring in the New Year, guests are invited to a decadent dinner at restaurant, Asiatique, followed by a Casino Royale beach party with live music and fireworks. On New Year’s Day, guests can enjoy a champagne breakfast accompanied by live music beachside, and a local street food night to sample the spice islands very best delights.
