Special dinner from award winning resturant Due South (Brighton) and Nyetimber wines Sussex
Nyetimber Wine Dinner at Due South: Thursday 7th April 2022
This April, Due South are delighted to announce an exciting wine dinner with English Sparkling Wine producer, Nyetimber. The decadent five-course menu begins with a selection of seasonal canapes paired with Nyetimber Classic Cuvee MV. Guests will be treated to a Jersey Oyster with dashi jelly and breakfast radish, a Smoked sea trout cornetto with Cornish caviar and dill and Battered turbot with garlic chips and vinegar powder. This is followed by Hand dived scallop in a tartlet with sea buckthorn and heritage carrot, perfectly paired with Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs 2014. Up next is an exciting dish of BBQ razor clams served with Iberico ham, tarragon and smoked butter, served alongside Nyetimber 1086 Rosé Prestige Cuvee 2010. Finishing off the savouries is Suckling pig & langoustine with a sherry caramel, apple, pickled mustard seeds and asparagus with Nyetimber 1086 Prestige Cuvee 2010. Then finally for dessert, guests will be served Sake marinated wild strawberries with hibiscus team, crème fraiche sorbet and aerated dark chocolate, paired with Nyetimber’s demi-sec; Cuvee Chérie MV.
The menu is £120 per person for the five courses plus wine pairings. There will be one sitting commencing at 7pm on the 7 April, where Nyetimber Brand Ambassador Zoe Dearsley will talk about the winery and guide guests through each course.
