Subject: Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa Embraces A Year of ‘Conscious Travelling’
Striving to create a sustainable travel economy in 2019 and beyond, Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is embarking on a year of ‘Conscious Travelling’. A concept that will give back to the local community and provide travellers with an authentic experience, not just a holiday. Whether through wellness and spirituality, eco or sustainable travel, travelling consciously will make a positive impact on the world and enrich the lives of everyone we meet along the way, one footprint at a time.
Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa has identified four key areas as cornerstones for its year of Conscious Travelling:
Q1: Wellness – The Holistic Wellness Journey
Outlined below.
Q2: Culinary Adventures – Farm to Fork
Sourcing locally, seasonally and sustainably, plus growing more produce in-resort
Q3: Families – Discover, Learn and Laugh
Think new skills, tactile experiences and the chance to feel like a child again!
Q4: Festive Season – An Eco-Friendly Island Christmas
Hilton Labriz is concerned about our Christmas carbon footprint but doesn’t want to compromise on a fun festive season so looks forward to celebrating in an eco-friendly way come December 2019!
The Holistic Wellness Journey – January to March 2019 (inclusive)
The first three months of 2019 will see Wellness being woven into all aspects of Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa. A rejuvenating time of detox for mind, body and spirit. During this quarter, the resort will host three holistic retreats with local and international specialists. There will be a different Wellness theme each month but all with a holistic healing approach to physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
Daily Wellness Activities will include: Beach Workouts, Boot Camps, Daily Yoga Sessions (Hatha, Power, Sunrise, etc.), Morning Meditation, Morning Hike to Ramasse Tout, Hiking, Running or Aqua Yoga. A large choice of healthy food and beverage options will be available throughout the resort, in addition to tailored spa treatments to purify and detox such as the Lime and Ginger Body Scrub, Hot Mineral Body Boost Treatment and Thousand Flower Detox Wrap.
A great option for solo travellers looking to focus on health and wellbeing at the start of a new year, as well as for groups of friends or a family perhaps looking to reach a fitness goal together.
Wellness Retreats at Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa:
January – Detox Deluxe
The first retreat will focus on detoxifying the body from unhealthy toxins after the festive season. Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach Stefanie Will from Germany will be resident at Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa until the end of January 2019 to provide personal nutrition coaching, detox meal plans as well as cookery sessions so that guests can recreate healthy dishes back at home.
Stefanie Will is not your typical nutritionist or personal trainer. Certified as a Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach by the Swiss Academy of Naturopathy she draws up individual nutrition plans in accordance with her client’s current health state, personal preferences and long-term goals starting with healing the body from the inside to ensure maximum nutrition absorption before step by step guiding them along a path of doable lifestyle improvements to unravel their inner and outer health. She strongly believes in a holistic approach taking the entire body into consideration will yield not only long-term weight loss but also healthy hair, nails and skin, clear eyes and a clear mind as well as an overall light and happy feeling.
Available as a 5-night retreat in a Sanctuary Villa with prices from €850 per night double occupancy. In-house guests can upgrade to the Detox package from €420 per night or book a private consultation with Stefanie for €80 per hour.
February – Bikini Body
The second retreat will focus on getting back in shape after winter over-indulgence. A specialist personal trainer will be based at the resort during February to help guests achieve their personal fitness and body goals. Following a private consultation with the personal trainer, each guest will receive a customised exercise plan to help reach their targets and can join in with a host of group activities such as hiking, running, sunset yoga and morning meditation.
March – Ayurveda
The third retreat will focus on the healing treatments of the traditional Indian medicine to rebalance energy levels and rediscover internal peace. An Ayurveda Specialist will join the team at Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa throughout March to explore chakra blockages and work specifically on them through specialised treatments, diet and yoga sessions.
Further details on the February and March retreats will be announced in shortly.
