If you are interested in supporting the Olympics this year look no further than Sussex based showjumping couple Amy Inglis and Michael Duffy who are over the moon to have been chosen as reserves for the UK and Irish Olympic teams in Tokyo. Amy’s ride will be Wishes and Michael will be taking Zilton ST.Z

To be in a sport and competing against each-other at such a high level requires support and just a small splattering of competition! As Amy explains “We are so very glad competitions have finally opened up again but last week was a good example of just how demanding and hectic our schedule has become. I had been competing in Denmark and Michael in St Tropez – we arrived back exhausted and (after the customary banter about our rides) we literally fell asleep at the table over a cup of tea! We are so pleased to be invited to jump at such top level shows (you don’t get much better than jumping next door to the French Riviera) but this week we are competing at Hickstead and there is something really lovely about coming home to jump at such a well run venue close to home. For any of those interested in the world of showjumping you should come along as its so close to Brighton”
