Sussex will open to 2015 County Championship season at the Ageas Bowl as they take on Second Division champions Hampshire.
Mark Robinson’s side will return home to face another newly promoted side in their second fixture of the season as they take on Worcestershire at Hove, however, they must wait until August before they get to take on the 2014 champions Yorkshire at Hove.
The one-day season begins in May when the Sharks Kent in the T20 Blast before taking on Gloucestershire two days later at Hove.
The Arundel Festival of Cricket kicks off in mid-June with clashes against Surrey and Durham before the Horsham Festival takes place in July.
“We have an exciting fixture list and it is very pleasing that we have an even spread of home fixtures throughout the summer,” Sussex Chairman Jim May told the club’s official website.
“Sussex is one of the few counties that host out-ground cricket and it remains vital that local residents and businesses support our Festivals to ensure that we are able to continue playing at Arundel and Horsham.
“On the playing front we have a very competitive squad. We have a number of players, including Matt Prior, returning from injury and they will be supplemented by our new signings, Ajmal Shahzad and Tymal Mills, under the excellent leadership of Ed Joyce. We are looking forward to the 2015 season with great optimism.”
