The Temper Trap revealed to play an Amazon secret gig at this month’s The Great Escape festival in Brighton, the BRIT Award nominees will play an Amazon Music exclusive show on Saturday 21st May at secret Brighton location.
UK based Australian modern rockers,The Temper Trap, will play an Amazon Music exclusive show on Saturday 21st May, at a top-secret venue as part of Brighton’s The Great Escape festival.
Amazon Front Row Live: The Secret Show is a one off event with the band, who will play a set including tracks from forthcoming album Thick As Thieves, which will be released in the UK on 10th June and is available for pre-order in digital, CD and vinyl formats in the Amazon Music Store now.
The gig marks the return of The Temper Trap to The Great Escape, having first played the festival in 2012. With more than a million albums sold; arena support tours with Coldplay and the Rolling Stones; gracing the stages of Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and Coachella; being nominated and winning a number of prestigious ARIA Awards in Australia, as well as receiving a nomination for best international group at the BRIT Awards – it’s been a good few years for The Temper Trap.
The Amazon secret gig is the third of its kind, with The Kaiser Chiefs playing the Amazon Front Row Live: The Secret Show in 2014 at Concorde 2, and Paul Weller playing the 2015 version at The Old Market.

The Great Escape wristband holders can register for a ticket, but with only a few hundred free tickets made available for the secret intimate venue, tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and festival-going fans are encouraged to sign up quickly. Festivalgoers who register their details over at The Great Escape website will receive details in due course of where and how tickets can be collected on the day of the Amazon Front Row Live: The Secret Show.
