Foodies Festival, the UK’s largest celebration of food & drink returns to Brighton Hove Lawns on the 3rd, 4th and 5th May for its fourth consecutive year. Each year the ever-growing festival sees tens-of-thousands of visitors flock from the surrounding areas to feast on a vast array of culinary activities, making Foodies Festival the social event of the summer.

Familiar faces at the festival this year include John Whaite, Great British Bake Off winner, Steven Edwards, winner of Masterchef: The Professionals 2013 and current Head Chef at The Camellia at the local South Lodge Hotel in Horsham, and double act Larkin Cen & Dale Williams, both Masterchef Finalists 2013, who have recently joined forces to stage pop-up dining experience Hokkei.


Now in its ninth year, Foodies Festival has introduced many exciting new elements to complement the popular food and drink theatres. Visitors to the festival can learn from the best with live cooking demonstrations from Michelin star and celebrity chefs in the Chefs Theatre, enjoy a beer, wine or cocktail drinks masterclass with experts Melissa Cole and Charles Metcalfe, get top tips from the country’s baking experts in the Chocolate, Cake & Bake Theatre, chill out on a hay bale in the new real ale and cider farm, dine at pop-up restaurants Fishy Fishy, and Riddle & Finn, perfect their BBQ’ing skills at the outdoor BBQ Arena, enter a chilli eating competition, relax in the stylish VIP areas, join in an afternoon tea dance in the Vintage Tea Tent and much more!
