The Ivy in the Lanes Preview Evenings and now their OPEN
The Ivy in the Lanes welcomed guests to two preview evenings this week on Tuesday 1 May and Monday 30 April. Over 250 guests from Brighton’s music, arts, food and business scene were entertained on each evening.
On Monday night guests were entertained by a set from DJ Fatboy Slim in the new brasserie. Guests included journalist and broadcaster Sali Hughes, Mayor of Brighton & Hove Mo Marsh, and Brighton based indie rock band British Sea Power. Key figures from Brighton’s food scene also attended, including Masterchef 2018 winner Kenny Tutt, and Masterchef: The Professionals 2013 winner Steven Edwards. Chief Executive of Brighton Dome Andrew Comden was also in attendance ahead of the festival events opening this week.
Barry Watson, General Manager of The Ivy in the Lanes said: “It was wonderful to welcome members of the local community to the brasserie for the first time this week. Brighton is an incredibly vibrant city full of unique character and inspiring people, with so much going on around every corner. The old post office building captures the blend of history and contemporary character that fits with our ethos and we are very excited to open our doors to diners today (Weds 2 May).”
