The Royal Pavilion, The Pier & The Grand Hotel: Montezuma’s Celebrates the Great British High Street with Brighton Love Local Chocolate Bars

To the nation, the Great British high street is as iconic as The Queen or a good cup of tea. So, in celebration of the reopening of the high street stores, including in Brighton, Montezuma’s called upon its team and customers to help them design six unique Love Local chocolate bars that truly represent the places where you can find a Montezuma’s chocolate shop.

The bar boasts iconic imagery of the city whilst highlighting the fantastic things worth exploring in the local area.

Brighton holds a special place in Montezuma’s hearts for hosting their first ever store. The store is homed on the lovely Duke street just a stone’s throw from the beach and a short meander through to The Lanes.

The Love Local Bar includes the most iconic Brighton sights from The Royal Pavilion through to The Pier. A special mention can be seen on the design to ‘The Grand’ hotel which also shares the name with Montezuma’s bestselling truffle box. No Brighton themed bar could go without representation of the beach in the form of a deck chair and of course, the friendly seagull!

Montezuma’s is excited for these local landmark chocolate bars to help reignite a passion for supporting local businesses, discovering hidden gems in your own neighbourhood, and hitting the high street for an unforgettable shopping experience.

Helen Pattinson, co-founder of Montezuma’s commented: “Retail still has a big part to play in the way Brits shop. The high street is going through some change but thanks to Covid, retail landlords are beginning to rethink their strategies. We hope this will allow more interesting, independent retailers to come back to the high street, breaking up homogenous towns and allowing people to enjoy the experience of shopping local once again. Together, we can make our high streets great again!”
