This year will mark the 75 year anniversary of VE Day, the nation will honour this day on Friday 8th May.
Rotary Watches also celebrates a special anniversary this year, 125 years of watchmaking. A significant period in Rotary’s history is the 1940’s when Rotary Watches became one of the official watch suppliers to the British Army. The onset of War in 1939 caught the Ministry of Defence at a time where there was an acute shortage of British watchmakers. As a Swiss watch manufacturer Rotary was selected to produce an ATP wristlet, becoming one of 17 watch manufacturers to service the British Army.
