UK ENTREPRENEUR ADAM STOTT CHAMPIONS ‘RICH HOUSE POOR HOUSE’ CO-STAR’S CATERING VENTURE
Award-winning entrepreneur, international wealth coach and Big Business Events CEO Adam Stott is swapping the boardroom for a life in front the cameras as he prepares to appear on Channel 5’s latest series of ‘Rich House Poor House’.
Stott and his father Ian, over seven days will swap living in their four-bedroomed Essex mansion with single mum Kiptieu Fatty Sheriff, who lives in a small two-bed, council-owned, ground floor flat in London’s Abbey Wood. The show is designed to be cultural exchange between two families from the opposite ends of the UK’s top and bottom 10% of the wealth divide.
Adam Stott, 38, has a number of successful businesses under his belt, internationally coaches entrepreneurship and wealth management, has interviewed household names such as John Travolta, 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather whilst boasting hundreds of clients through Big Business Events – many of whom have built up multimillion-pound businesses of their own thanks to Adams’ expansive expertise covering many industry sectors.
Kiptieu, 42, fled war-torn Sierra Leone at the age of 24, travelling to England to reunite with her mother and sister. Becoming a widow three years ago and left single-handedly to raise three daughters has put a substantial strain on family finances, exacerbated by recent redundancy following the COVID-19 crisis.
Following the home-swap experience, Adam Stott has offered his free time, support and entrepreneurial vision to Kiptieu’s recent start-up catering venture – Bongo’s Kitchen, providing authentic African dishes that will transport you to the heart of Sierra Leone without having to leave London.
He explains: “The show was a privilege to be a part, opened my eyes to the struggles many are facing in the coronavirus climate and the challenges faced by many who have the passion to set up their own business but haven’t got the structures or funding in place to do. Following filming, I’ve continued to back Kiptieus’ fantastic African catering concept, supporting business growth with the purchase of a new freezer to expand the operation, building her an online presence to improve local awareness and this is just the very beginning for Bongo’s Kitchen!”
