Join the ultimate girls’ night out with the Martlets Midnight Walk on Saturday 11th June and help to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
This totally fabulous and very pink event sees hundreds of ladies taking to the streets of Brighton and Hove, with many dressed in fantastic, glittery fancy dress, all determined to raise as much money as possible for Martlets Hospice.
Now in its tenth year, the Martlets Midnight Walk, which sets off from Brighton Racecourse, has three distances of 6, 13 or 20 miles; so it’s suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.
Antonia Shepherd from the Hospice’s Fundraising Team said: “Get all the girls together and sign-up for a brilliant, fun and lively night out.
“You don’t have to be super-fit to take part, the routes are designed to be challenging but achievable; just make sure you are wearing sensible shoes!
“Lots of our ladies join us every year and have helped us to raise over a million pounds so far; which is a fantastic achievement.
“Some take on the challenge in memory of a loved one, others simply want to have a great night out with their friends and family whilst doing something worthwhile.
“We want to thank each and every one of you; your amazing support helps us to care for our patients and their families through some of their toughest times.
“It’s an event that just gets bigger every year and we hope that 2016 will break some fundraising records for us.
“It costs £16 to register and we ask that you raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship. For that you get a registration pack containing your Midnight Walk T-shirt which includes a training plan. When you finish you’ll be welcomed back with a medal, well-deserved breakfast and hot drink as well as an exciting bag of lovely goodies.
“Anyone raising over £125 will be entered into a prize draw to win a gorgeous Pandora bracelet.”
