London, 18 January: Off the back of ‘Quitters Day’ – the day people are most likely to call quits on their Vegan and New Year’s resolutions, Deliveroo is helping Brits make it through the last leg of Veganuary by giving away 2,000 x £5.00 FREE credit codes for new and existing customers, to be used on vegan food across the country.
A recent Deliveroo social media poll found 60% of respondents are feeling their ‘new year, new me’ mindset start to waver as Quitter’s Day* approaches – which means for the hundreds of thousands of people doing Veganuary, meat cravings and caving are at risk of being stronger than ever. With Deliveroo, customers CAN make it to the end of the month meat-free.
From today, Tuesday 19th Jan, Deliveroo is launching a ‘VeCANuary’ code giveaway, offering 2,000 new and existing Deliveroo customers £5.00 FREE Deliveroo credit to spend on vegan food from 188 selected plant-based restaurants.
The voucher codes are redeemable at some of the best Vegan restaurants across the country, including Mildreds, Oowee Vegan, What The Pitta, and Neat Burger* and all customers need to do is enter the ‘VECANUARY’ code. Minimum order, delivery fees and service charges may apply.
Aisha Jefferson from Deliveroo said, “If you started off the year with the best intentions, but are teetering on the edge of giving into those meat cravings, we’ve got an offer to caROO on! We’re changing Veganuary to Ve-CAN-uary this week – so go the distance with your plant-based promise and enjoy one of our delicious incentives thanks to £10,000 worth of free voucher codes!”
Off the back of seeing a 117% increase in demand for vegan food over the last twelve months, the food-delivery giant reported that in the first week of January 2021, it saw a 153% rise in searches for ‘vegan’ food in the app compared to the month before, as Brits across the country take on Veganuary.
The £5.00 free code giveaway is running from 19th January until stocks last, and is available to 2,000 new and existing Deliveroo customers. Meat-ditchers will need to enter the code ‘VECANUARY’ in the app or website.
Customers using the app can go to their account and add the code into the ‘Enter a Promo Code’ field. Minimum order, delivery fees and service charges may apply depending on the restaurant.
Deliveroo is encouraging people to try delicious meat free dishes this month and enjoy the huge range of amazing Vegan options available on the app. Those who aren’t able to get their hands on a voucher can still order from one of the 15,000 plant-based and vegan friendly restaurants and grocers available in the UK on Deliveroo this Veganuary.
Customers can order vegan food on Deliveroo today and place orders directly through the Deliveroo app, or online. Download the app here. App link will direct people to their device’s app store.
