Wear a piece of Rotary history!
In anticipation of a milestone birthday next year, Rotary Watches has delved into the archives to bring together a celebration of heritage and iconic design. For Autumn/Winter 2019 we are excited to introduce a new watch family of limited edition pieces: Heritage.
Three watches with effortless style and timeless character have been carefully selected from Rotary’s archive to inspire the new family. Drawn from two important decades; the 40s and 50s these watches are a testament to the power of lasting quality and style.
Resonating with today’s trend for vintage, classic aesthetic whilst holding a 21 jewel movement for more efficient timekeeping, these timepieces will truly stand the test of time. Self-winding and limited to 300 pieces each, Heritage accentuates the longevity of the Rotary brand and is the perfect gift for the avid collector.
The first watch of the collection features elements of watch design made prevalent in the 40s, whilst prominent lugs and polished Arabic dial markers deliver a contemporary twist to the classic design. A 40mm case is enclosed in bubble mineral glass, an element from the original design. The combination of a pale champagne dial with brown leather straps and Rotary Buckle evokes the popular aviation style of the era.

The bubble mineral glass fits the vintage aesthetic whilst the over-printed Arabic markers deliver a modern update. Classic, elegant this is the perfect timepiece for those who believe that style is timeless.

With a khaki canvas strap and luminous sword hands, the final watch in the family takes inspiration from vintage military designs, a nostalgic reference to Rotary’s link to the British Army. Featuring a 41.5mm fully titanium case, this AW19 addition is a great option for those who have a taste for adventure. With luminous hands and index markers, waterproof to 100m and flat sapphire glass this a rugged timepiece suitable for the ardent adventurer.
