Calling all nature lovers: Explore and discover the wildlife living in Brighton’s local parks this summer. Join the family event officer in Queens Park, Preston Park, St Ann’s Well Gardens, Saunders Park and Hove Park, bring your children along for activities every Wednseday and encourage your little ones to learn about leaves, flowers, birds and trees at these free pop up events in various Brighton parks until 21st August.
Suitable for adults and children, activities including hunts and bird spotting will be carried out in a bid to make people aware of the wildlife that we have right under our noses.
– Wednesday 29th of June, 2.30-5.30pm – St. Ann’s Well Gardens.
– Sunday 3rd of July, 11am-1pm and 2-4pm – Hove Park.
– Wednesday 6th of July, 3.30-5pm – Whitehawk (In partnership with the Brighton and Hove Playbus).
– Wednesday 13th of July, 2.30-5.30pm – Queens Park.
– Wednesday 20th of July, 2.30-5.30pm – St. Ann’s Well Gardens.
